OANA BĂLAN
INTERIOR ARCHITECT & DESIGNER
Architecture does not begin with a predefined style, but with the people who inhabit a space and continuously redefine it. It begins with the way they move through it, pause, repeat certain gestures, or slowly create new ones over time. What could endure the passing of time more naturally than a space that adapts to the way we live and grows older alongside us?
“For me, every project begins with a process of observation and interpretation. I’m interested in an architecture that responds to a real need, yet still leaves room for poetry, one that develops an authentic identity beyond formal rigor or the precision of execution alone. Context, habits, personal obsessions, or even the things we are instinctively drawn to become part of an open composition where volumes, objects, and materials enter into a quiet dialogue. Sometimes expected, sometimes not. There is always an aesthetic dimension, of course. A careful selection of textures, references, objects, and atmospheres that gradually come together as something coherent and deeply personal. But aesthetics are never the starting point. They emerge naturally from the way a space is lived in.”
Ultimately, we do not believe in imposed aesthetics, but in those built together over time, a language that belongs to the place itself and to the life unfolding inside it. Spaces are shaped through this continuous movement, somewhere between routine and fleeting moments, and find meaning through the rhythm of everyday life.

COMMUNICATION & SOCIAL MEDIA
Communication, for us, is an exercise of selection. It turns the entire creative process into a sincere and grounded collaboration we gradually understand wht remains, what falls away, what deserves to be said and what should only be suggested through an (architectural) gesture.
"Personally, I see myself as a mediator at the intersection of image, perception and lifestyle. I am directly interested in how a project is perceived before it is explained, how it can exist coherently without being over-defined: what does it communicate?
I am not interested in marketing a service (whitch can be presented in many ways), but in shaping a meaningful and valuable relationship, first and foremost, between people and spaces that host them - some of them forever: the home. It is important for each of us to understand what quality means on a personal level, the quality of a well-crafted work, which ultimately reflects in the quality of life."

We believe in communication as a transfer of valuable information, without which a project cannot truly be completed. When communication is clear and honest, things tend to align naturally: the project is deliverd on time, the relationship between client and architect becomes natural and close, without unnecessary tension or promises that cannot be fulfilled.
